About Us

Our business was founded in 1971 by Martin Lowe to fulfil the task of providing the most efficient diagnosis, repair and maintenance of automatic gearboxes for customers in the Yorkshire region and beyond. 

We have been in continual business since that time and have occupied our current purpose-built premises in Barnsley since 1985.

Our customers come to us through recommendation and reputation, we never advertise. We thrive on using our experience to keep our customers happy with regards to the quality and cost of our service.

Our team has a combined experience of over 140 years, ensuring your vehicle is in the best hands whilst in our workshop.

We utilise the latest diagnostic equipment; using our own torque converter rebuild machinery and along with the rest of our equipment we carry out all work in-house ensuring we keep control of costs, quality, and timescales.
